🔧 Troubleshooting Checklist

  1. Verify Query Login is enabled in TS3 server settings
  2. Ensure your firewall allows connections on:
    • TCP 10011 (ServerQuery)
    • UDP 9987 (Voice)
  3. Public Query only provides basic functionality - for full features disable Public Query login in the server settings.

Understanding TeamSpeak Server Queries

What is a TeamSpeak Server Query?

A TeamSpeak Server Query is a special administrative account that allows external applications to connect to your TeamSpeak server and perform administrative tasks. It's essentially a "bot" account with specific permissions that our services use to manage your server automatically.

How to Create a Server Query Account

There are two ways to create a server query account:

1. Using the Official TeamSpeak Client:

  • In TeamSpeak 3, go to Extras → Server Query to create a query login with the permissions of your current user.
  • TeamSpeak 5/6 may have a similar option in their menus.

2. Using YaTQA:

  • YaTQA is a popular TeamSpeak query tool that allows you to create more specific query accounts with custom permissions.
  • The software is self-explanatory and provides a user-friendly interface for managing query accounts.

Adding Your Query Account to my-ts.org

Follow these steps to add your query account to your server settings:

  1. Go to "My Servers" and find your server
  2. Click "Edit" on your server
  3. Uncheck "Use public server query login"
  4. Enter your query credentials (username and password)
  5. Save your changes

Server Responsiveness Policy

  • If your server fails to respond 10 consecutive times, our system will temporarily stop checking it.
  • This counter resets automatically every night at 00:00 UTC, and scanning will resume.
  • If your server remains unresponsive for longer than a month, it may be automatically disabled to maintain system efficiency.

A: We take ToS violations seriously to maintain a safe and fair environment for all users. Here's how you can report violations:

  • Reporting Servers:
    You can report any server directly from its detail page. Simply:

    1. Navigate to the server's page
    2. Look for the "Report Server" button (usually near the server information)
    3. Submit your report
  • Reporting Discussions:
    Similarly, you can report inappropriate discussions by:

    1. Scroll to the discussion thread
    2. Clicking the "Report" option
    3. Providing details about the violation
